Claridge One-Stop Engineering
Springs and Wireforms is part of Claridge One-Stop
Engineering, a specialist presswork engineering company
who offer presswork capacity of up to 100 tonnes
with materials 6mm thick. |

Service:
Claridges presswork facility is equipped
for automatic coil and strip feeding of materials
up
to 6mm thick
using
progressive,
compound & single op tooling. Materials catered
for include steel, brass, beryllium copper, stainless
steel and aluminium to customer specification. Clarigde
has the capacity for high volume production of medium
sized
items such as automotive brackets as well as the
production of smaller items such as electronic
and
electrical
connectors. Using our in-house
tooling we can offer both small orders and prototypes
without major tooling costs..

Electrical
& Electronics Presswork:
Much of our work is destined for use in the electrical
and electronics industry including the computing,
telecommunications
and medical sectors. Generally these components
are high volume, small size and pressed from
a range of specialist materials such as tin and
copper and are often finished with an electroplate
coat such as silver, copper, gold or nickel. |

Contacts:
Contacts and other electrically
conductive components constitiute a significant proportion
of our work. From this experience we have become
expert in the use of specialst materials
such as copper and brass
with specific plastic properties.

Automotive
Presswork: For many years the
name of Claridge has been synominous with high
volume automotive production including exhaust
plates for silencers, heavy plate work for anti-vibration
mounts and fixing brackets. This type of work
is often both high volume and large in size using
specialist materials with finishing
such as zinc plating and powder coating included
in the service. |

& Finish: We work with all basic
material types such as spring steel, stainless steel, phosphor
bronze, beryllium copper, mild
steel, and aluminium as well as specialty materials
and offer a range of finishing options including
powder coating, painting, plating & polishing.
